Dentist Mario Laskaris is the owner and principal dentist of the Chilliwack Dental Centre that he founded in June 1999. Before starting his own facility, he has also worked in Penticton for 1 year after receiving the license to practice in British Columbia from the College of Dental Surgeons of BC. He was an excellentstudent with high academic achievements. He initially attended the Concordia University where, he received a degree in Bachelor of Biology, specializing in genes. He received NSERC, national award for research in tumor suppressing genes. In 1993 he entered the faculty of Dentistry at the McGill University where, he completed his dental degree in 1998.



Besides, being a well respected dental professional he also takes keen interest in community activities. Dentist Mario Laskaris is one of the active members of the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary Club. Through this club, he has involved himself in community activities like the Meals On Wheels Program for the needy, Polio Plus worldwide eradication program, the Rotary Wheelchair Foundation for the Disadvantaged around the world and various other community activities including work on 2 Rotary parks, CATT fund, toys for tots and Children foundation fundraising. he is a benevolent person and enjoys an excellent reputation in the dental community and the community at large in Chilliwack.
