Dentist Mario Laskaris is a Chilliwack based dentist who was born in Montreal, Canada on July 1, 1971. He had academic achievements throughout the years as a student and was popular among his teachers and fellow students because of his excellent results. He completed Bachelors of Science in Biology from Concordia University, specializing in genetics. He was awarded with NSERC national award for conducting an extensive research on tumor suppressing genes.

He joined the McGill University in 1993, where he got himself enrolled for the faculty of Dentistry and in 1998, he completed his dental degree. Dentist Mario Laskaris received the license for practicing in British Colombia by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC on June 1, 1998. Later, he and his family moved to Penticton where he practiced for 1 year under the contract. He has always been considered as a member in good standings with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

Dentist Mario Laskaris initiated the Chilliwack Dental Centre in June, 1999. Since then, he has been working there as its owner and principal dentist. It offers various dentistry services like dental implants, crown & bridgework, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, oral sedation, periodontal maintenance (gum therapy), endodontic (root canal therapy), oral surgery, orthodontics (incl. invisalign treatment), and dental care for the entire family. He is famous among his patients for his patience, caring behaviour and ability to put them at ease.

Besides being a well known dentist, he is also a great philanthropist. Dentist Mario Laskaris is an active member of various foundations including the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary Club. This club is known for organizing charitable events like the Meals On Wheels Program for the needy, Polio Plus Worldwide Eradication Program, the Rotary Wheelchair Foundation for the Disadvantaged around the world.
