Dentist Mario Laskaris was born in Montreal, Canada on the July 1, 1971. He is a well-known dentist who has managed to establish a wide customer base by providing excellent services at easily affordable prices. In June 1999, he started the Chilliwack Dental Centre, where he is the principal dentist. The Chilliwack Dental Centre deals in general dentistry for adults and children which involves services like oral surgery, implants, orthodontics, crown and bridgework, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, oral sedation, periodontal maintenance and endodontic.

Dentist Mario Laskaris was an excellent student, and has had many academic achievements throughout his studies. He joined the Concordia University where he studied Bachelors of Science in Biology, specializing in genetics. He conducted an extensive research on tumor suppressing genes, for which he was awarded NSERC national award. In 1993, he joined McGill University, where he got himself enrolled for the faculty of Dentistry and completed his dental degree in 1998. After the completion of his course, he and his family moved to Penticton and on June 1, 1998, he received the license for practicing in British Columbia by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC. He practiced in Penticton for 1 year under the contract.

Apart from being a highly skilled dentist, Dentist Mario Laskaris is a great human being as well. He believes in working for the welfare of the society and has proved to be helping hand towards the welfare of the poor and underprivileged. He is an active participant in professional as well as community activities. He is an active member of the Chilliwack Mt. Cheam Rotary Club and has participated in various charities and programs like the Meals on Wheels Program for the needy, Polio Plus Worldwide Eradication Program, the Rotary Wheelchair Foundation for the Disadvantaged around the world, and many more, through this club.
